Stop giving me reasons to say no.
And start giving me reasons to say yes.
It’s so bloody sterile, You know that frank? NOne of these people are living. None of them care, none of them smile, red smiles, less of them loves.
People are afraid of other people. there are stops in place that ensure our seperation. And yet, should that seperation be overcome, in times of war, by a common goal, the individual must always reign. It is on his command that many will die, and fewer will live to see their love, the family triumphs over everything and everyone else, for greed, for glory, or some ancient tradition. Who is your...

I have a date sometime this week. I know the girl from out with school, but really never hung with her. The problem with this is that I haven’t been out on a date in approximately 3 years… and that was with a guy. So I have no idea what I am doing. And I feel awkward since she is younger than me, which shouldn’t matter since its only a year, but everything makes me feel...

Imagine if every song were like a river. Cool, and calming, but exciting if need be. Imagine if every note made waves in the ocean, that you could ride on until the sun set. Imagine if every verse told a story, of clouds and fog and clarity. Imagine if every beat from a drum pounded deep within your heart, and made it flutter and skip. Imagine if every whisper in a microphone...

Good internal order? Appropriate external relation?
Does that mean you have to be a crazy outcast (as most philosophers were), or a level-headed person in an intimate position in society?
that feeling.
When the energy is all gone.
You want to sleep, but you don’t. You want to move, but you don’t.
Its that kind of feeling about life.
You don’t quite know what it means, what should motivate you to move.
Logic works like this. Or classical logic does :
Socrates is a man.
All Men are mortal,
therefore Socrates is a mortal.
This idea is valid, and as both...

Welcome to my own blog
counsellingwestlondon:
Hello everyone,
I have been in two minds if to start my own blog or not. I wanted to use a tool that would allow me to share my experiences as a counsellor yet without compromise my clients privacy.
Here i am, starting my first text…..

my life
unzip:
has completely changed.
and now i don’t know what to do.
What do you have to run from?
What’s wrong with your life?
Open up and share.
Oh wait, who cares?
That’s all they seem to say nowadays. If there ain’t a pill, then your troubles’re there to stay, because no one will help them go away.
Love ain’t got that same value anymore. There are new conditions.
So, got an answer?
I’ve lived far from people for a while now,
Standing on the edge, everything should seem clearer,
And yet I can’t see the sun, and I don’t know
Anymore what the things I find dear are.

I’ve mistook, and mistreated, so I’ll never be loved,

Obama Willing To Stake Presidency On Healthcare →
Rep. Leonard Boswell (D-IA) says President Barack Obama is so focused on health care reform that he’s willing to stake his presidency on it.
After a town hall meeting yesterday in Iowa, the Democratic lawmaker quoted Obama to reporters (audio clip at bottom):
The president (said), ‘I’m not going to kick the can down the road.’ And he said that and I said, ‘Well, that’s something I’m kind of...
MSNBC Host: Calling Obama Socialist Is Code For... →
libertyeternal:
After bizarrely claiming that the Obama Joker posters were somehow racist, despite the fact that George W. Bush was also characterized as the comic book villain during his presidency, the establishment media is now floating the wacky conspiracy theory that calling Obama a “socialist” is a secret code which really means the n-word.
Is there really no end to this madness? How can...
The Healthcare Debate
There must be a hundred million or more republicans out there, crying to say no to healthcare bill that hasn’t been written yet. Every one of them is quaking in their very bones, at the thought that a man who might not let them carry guns into restaurants, who gives them the freedom to choose whether to have abortion or not (no coercion involved) in a world where protected sex is called...

The Pentagon Wants Authority to Post Almost... →
libertyeternal:
The Pentagon has approached Congress to grant the Secretary of Defense the authority to post almost 400,000 military personnel throughout the United States in times of emergency or a major disaster.
This request has already occasioned a dispute with the nation’s governors. And it raises the prospect of U.S. military personnel patrolling the streets of the United States, in...
Sauf Le Monde
These shoes were filled long ago,
by echoes and ages, as life
drifted on, unmoved by love or
harm, and faded gently
away.
Everything seems to slip away,
as the days away, I do
commence to play, and walking
on to fields of gold, I kiss,
the silent air.
With words untold of glory and love,
I recanted, decanted, your favourite
fairy tale, turned it round, and lost
its love, till I was...
Ask me where my favourite place is? I just love moments, times. There was paris, listening to songs in the pouring rain, deep at night, exploring new worlds, new friendships, jumping, and falling. There was greece, on the coast, as the wind battered on, whispering verses of fabled poetry, as craze ran through my head. There was the soulful music on the embankment, the good company, the...
Sorry.
Stop saying sorry world! Because when you do, it’s at the wrong times, and all you end up hurting is yourself, helping no one.
You can say a million times i’m sorry, and all you’re doing is weakening your character, saying that you in some way are at fault, for being who you are.
Now with a mistep, or clumsiness, it’s all perfectly well.
But you don’t...

In Iceland
The store, was laid bare to me, for the second time today, as dismayed by the sight of an abandoned basket, instead of alerting security, as the police would have me do, I inquired of its nature, to the nearest person amicably.
Me : Do you know if there's anyone here? (Just before this point she has overtaken mystery man in the queue)
(Lovely smiling) Woman : I don't know, it was here when I started queueing.
Me : Someone will eventually turn up for it, I guess.
Woman : Or maybe they've just left it there.
(At this point I rearrange the barriers between people's items, much to their appreciation, after which a packet of milky ways is pushed into my face, and I willingly act as convoy to the woman, and am thanked by both her and her husband.)
And doing these daily things we're happy, aren't we?
we don't think, we don't worry and we don't have to care about things so much. we get angry at little things, but everything is okay in the end, everything goes along well.
On the tube today (all extrapolated.)
There’s a girl in front of me, she keeps looking up at me. Some of the time she’s smiling, the other times she’s speaking in arabic (i presume). She must be about thirteen, fourteen. She’s probably half from an arabic country (there’s no way of knowing which, if you’re an uneducated westerner who can’t hear or...
Two men were lately jailed, 16 and 20, for beating up, while under the influence of alcohol, having been drinking the enitre day, a 43 year old man with five children, who died, because of this beating.
There was no motivation for this act, and no reasoning, logical or illogical.
They were just drunk.
Only recently a relative of the deceased implored that the harshest sentence be sought. On two...
You know, in the strangest of places you find wisdom.
I found two quotes on a tunnel full of graffitti.
One from JFK, and one from Thomas Jefferson.
And though I can’t find the quotes, I think it shows a lot. That this great world can produce, even against what we expect and we’re prejudiced into believing, intelligence, and love and trust, and belief, and faith.

Whatever That Meant
There’s a movement to this city beat,
There’s a feeling in this reversable feat,
There’s a line in this coffin,
And you’re no boffin.
You don’t have to worry,
if these words make no sense,
just lay it all down, say you’re sorry,
don’t keep up the pretence,
that you don’t know,
that i’m about to show,
the love of your life,
and with...
i’ve always wanted to know you,
I’ve always wanted to show you,
that I care,
that I need you.
And it’s been a while,
and the time has taken its tole,
but somehow I’ve always known,
that it’s you.
Who knows,
where the plane is headed,
or where you’re meant to be,
less it’s here neath my arms.
I’m watching the stars,
feeling your hand...
