The Healthcare Debate

There must be a hundred million or more republicans out there, crying to say no to healthcare bill that hasn’t been written yet. Every one of them is quaking in their very bones, at the thought that a man who might not let them carry guns into restaurants, who gives them the freedom to choose whether to have abortion or not (no coercion involved) in a world where protected sex is called wrong by hard lines, and yet promiscuity has been on the rise since the early 1920’s, at the thought that this man might help the 45 million people without healthcare.

Because for some reason that isn’t a right. They don’t deserve it. And all those homeless people on the streets should just jump up and get a job. If anything it shows an inherent lack of intelligence, logic, or facts. Most men and woman who are homeless are as such due to the death of family members, mistreatment within care homes, or the abandonment of their family, leading to, or solely caused by addictions, to drugs, alcohol or similar, or the recession.

There are no more jobs to go round, and yet they’re just supposed to leap up and find jobs from nowhere, and feed themselves, look after themselves. The Americans stupidly pride themselves on a vast military, and yet fail to look after the men and woman who one day may be a part of it. In a world where every civilised country has healthcare, and looks after every citizen, it still holds behind, as if it were a developing country, and attacks the countries that care about their citizens enough to give them free healthcare.
